Ellet had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They took down the Cuyahoga Falls Black Tigers 59-40. This was payback for the Orangemen, who suffered a 71-38 loss the last time these two teams met.

Despite the loss, Cuyahoga Falls still got an impressive performance from Hayden Johnson, who posted 11 points and five boards. Johnson has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last six times he's played. Shannon Payne was another key player, putting up 12 points and seven rebounds.

Ellet is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a massive bump to their 7-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.3 points per game. As for Cuyahoga Falls, their record is now 5-7.
