Baseball Game Preview: Paul VI Eagles vs. Shawnee Renegades

The Paul VI Eagles will head out to take on the Shawnee Renegades at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Shawnee took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Paul VI, who comes in off a win.

Paul VI is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They put the hurt on Winslow Township with a sharp 16-0 win on Monday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for Paul VI considering their one-run performance the match before.

Meanwhile, Shawnee fell victim to Lenape and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Indians. Having soared to a lofty 14 runs in the game before, the Renegades' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Shawnee saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aidan Brady, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Paul VI has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.8 runs over those games. As for Shawnee, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-6.
