Soccer Game Preview: Swain County vs. Bethany Community

The Swain County Maroon Devils will venture away from home to face off against the Bethany Community Wolves at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Swain County will be looking to extend their current 14-game winning streak.

Swain County is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Monday. They blew past Mountain Heritage 10-1. The result was nothing new for Swain County, who have now won 11 games by three goals or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Bethany Community kept a clean sheet against Starmount on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 4-0 margin over the Rams. Bethany Community are also no stranger to big wins: their blowout was the seventh contest they've won by 3+ goals this season.

Swain County's victory was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-1. The home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 51 goals over those eight matchups. As for Bethany Community, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-6-2 record this season.
