Basketball Recap: Petoskey Comes Up Short

After flying high against Alpena last Monday, Petoskey came back down to earth. The Petoskey Northmen took a 65-57 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Gaylord Blue Devils on Friday. The Northmen haven't had much luck with the Blue Devils recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Petoskey's loss dropped their record down to 10-10. As for Gaylord, their victory bumped their record up to 7-11.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Petoskey will take on Traverse City Central at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Gaylord, they will face off against Traverse City West at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
