Baseball Recap: MacArthur Comes Up Short

MacArthur lost against Lake Highlands last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. MacArthur lost 9-1 to Lake Highlands. That's two games in a row now that the Cardinals have lost by exactly eight runs.

MacArthur saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aaron Saenz, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI. That's the most hits Saenz has posted since back in February.

MacArthur is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 13-5. As for Lake Highlands, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-4-2.

MacArthur wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 6-3 victory against Molina on the 22nd. As for Lake Highlands, they will venture away from home to take on Dallas Jesuit at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
