Pinecrest Academy Cadence was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 30-4.
They got a good chunk of their points from the dynamic duo of
McKayla Epps and
Sierra Larson, who each put up no points.
Pinecrest Academy Cadence has been struggling recently, as they've lost nine of their last ten contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-11 record this season. As for Mater Academy East Las Vegas, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-6.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pinecrest Academy Cadence will take on Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Mater Academy East Las Vegas will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Virgin Valley at 6:30 p.m. on January 11th.
