El Camino has no trouble against San Juan Hills

Even though the San Juan Hills Stallions scored an imposing 62 points on Wednesday, the El Camino Wildcats still came out on top. El Camino strolled past San Juan Hills with points to spare, taking the game 79-62. The victory was all the more spectacular given El Camino's disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 553rd, while San Juan Hills is ranked 140th).

El Camino's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Brandon Boone, who went 6 for 7 from beyond the arc en route to 18 points and 0 assists. Another player making a difference was Logan Ardent, who scored 19 points.

El Camino is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 4-3 record this season. As for San Juan Hills, their loss dropped their record down to 6-5.

El Camino's road trip will continue as they head out to face Trabuco Hills at 7:00 p.m. on December 8th. Trabuco Hills has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 381 points over their last five matchups. As for San Juan Hills, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Victory Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
