Ashville put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against the St. Clair County Fighting Saints by a score of 2-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 on Thursday.

While Ashville won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-22.

Lydia Northam paced Ashville's offense, picking up nine kills. Northam got some help from Ryleigh Cothran and her 17 assists. Cothran was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Ashville's win bumped their record up to 7-0. As for St. Clair County, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coincidentally, Ashville and St. Clair County will both be playing Sardis the next time they take the court. The Bulldogs will head out to face the Lions at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, while the Fighting Saints will head out to face them at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
