Bristol Central faced Simsbury in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Monday. The Rams fell 3-1 to the Trojans. The Rams' defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Bristol Central started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 25-18, 25-23, 25-16.
