Volleyball Recap: Stebbins Indians vs. Piqua Indians
Stebbins was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 31st straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Piqua Indians. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Stebbins of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-21, 25-20.
Piqua can attribute much of their success to Audrey Applegate, who had 14 digs and two aces. That's the most aces Applegate has posted since last Saturday.
Stebbins' defeat dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Piqua, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-9.
Coincidentally, both will both be playing West Carrollton the next time they take the court. Stebbins will host West Carrollton at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while Piqua will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
