Baseball Recap: Oakdale Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Oakdale managed to slip by Manteca the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Mustangs lost 8-2 to the Buffaloes on Wednesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Mustangs have suffered since February 26th.

Griffin Costa was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

Oakdale's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-7. As for Manteca, their victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-4.

While Oakdale had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
