Volleyball Recap: Huntingdon Comes Up Short

Huntingdon lost against Bald Eagle Area back in August and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Bearcats lost 3-0 to the Eagles.

While Huntingdon was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-23, 25-19.

Leading Bald Eagle Area to victory were Nora Eppley and Kinsey Clark. Eppley had 14 digs and two aces, while Clark had five digs and three aces. That's the most aces Clark has posted over her last six matches.

Huntingdon has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-14-1 record this season. As for Bald Eagle Area, they pushed their record up to 21-5-2 with the victory, which was their eighth straight on the road.

Huntingdon has already played their next matchup (against Central), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Bald Eagle Area, they have also already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against Hollidaysburg on the 13th.
