Baseball Game Preview: Mountain View Christian Academy Mustangs vs. Pinnacle Classical Academy Eagles

The Mountain View Christian Academy Mustangs are taking a road trip to challenge the Pinnacle Classical Academy Eagles at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Mountain View Christian Academy can't be to happy about their upcoming road matchup considering what happened when they opened their season on the away from home on Friday. They lost 19-2 to The Master's Academy.

Meanwhile, Pinnacle Classical Academy unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of Hickory Christian Academy by a score of 2-0 on Thursday. The Eagles have struggled against the Knights recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost meetings.

Pinnacle Classical Academy saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brayden Harvey, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base. Those two hits gave Harvey a new career-high.

Mountain View Christian Academy skirted past Pinnacle Classical Academy 10-8 when the teams last played back in April of 2023. Does Mountain View Christian Academy have another victory up their sleeve, or will Pinnacle Classical Academy turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
