Basketball Recap: Addison Trail Takes a Loss

Addison Trail extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to six on Thursday, dropping them down to 0-5. They had to suffer through a 57-22 loss at the hands of the Saint Viator Lions. The Blazers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 32-8.

As for Saint Viator, their win bumped their record up to 5-3. The matchup marked their most dominant victory of the season so far.

Saint Viator found their leader in sophomore Ava Garcia, who shot 54% from the field en route to 17 points and seven boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Evelyn Hill, who posted seven points and five assists.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Addison Trail will host Downers Grove South at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Saint Viator, they will be playing at home against Ida Crown Jewish Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
