Soccer Game Preview: Gonzaga Prep vs. Ferris

The Gonzaga Prep Bullpups will head out to square off against the Ferris Saxons at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Ferris took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Gonzaga Prep, who comes in off a win.

Last Friday, Gonzaga Prep narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Central Valley 2-1. Gonzaga Prep found success even though the refs didn't miss a thing: Abel Rivera and Brian McGann were both handed yellow cards.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Ferris' offense. They fell just short of University by a score of 1-0 on Friday. Ferris have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Gonzaga Prep's win bumped their record up to 2-4-2. As for Ferris, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.

Gonzaga Prep couldn't quite get it done against Ferris in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 as they fell 4-2. Can Gonzaga Prep avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
