Baseball Game Preview: Catholic Memorial Crusaders vs. Mukwonago Indians

For the second straight game, Catholic Memorial will face off against Mukwonago. The Crusaders will square off against the Indians at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Catholic Memorial's offense. They fell just short of Mukwonago by a score of 2-0 on Tuesday. The Crusaders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

For Mukwonago's part, the result came thanks to Ben Jones's shutout, as he gave up just two hits and racked up eight Ks.

At the plate, Mukwonago's win was truly a team effort as seven different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Adam Kudronowicz, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base and one run. Braedon Vogds was another, going 1-for-2 with one run and one double.

Mukwonago has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Catholic Memorial, their loss dropped their record down to 8-14.
