Softball Recap: Kerman Extends Winning Streak to Four

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Kerman had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Shafter Generals 1-0. The win was familiar territory for the Lions, who have now won four matches in a row.

Kerman's victory was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Jadyn Grewal, who went 1-for-3 with one run.

Kerman's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-7. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of 1.33 runs across that stretch. As for Shafter, their loss dropped their record down to 19-8-2.

As of now, neither Kerman nor the Generals have any future games scheduled.
