Wellington had already won seven in a row and they went ahead and made it eight on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Attica Bulldogs. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Crusaders also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

Lyndi Barton paced Wellington's offense, picking up 11 kills. Barton got some help from Kirstyn Gregory and her 11 assists. Mikayla Ybarra controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Despite the defeat, Attica saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Angelina Mcmillan had seven aces.

Wellington's victory bumped their record up to 10-4. As for Attica, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-5.

Wellington wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Pretty Prairie on the 20th. As for Attica, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Chaparral on the 20th.
