Basketball Recap: Make It Seven in a Row for Liberty Christian

Liberty Christian came tearing into Friday's matchup with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 23.7 points) and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Alamance Christian Warriors by a score of 50-40. This was a revenge game for the Patriots: when they faced off against the Warriors back in January, they had to take a 100-92 defeat.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Liberty Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jakeem Bradford, who posted 16 points and six assists. Bradford is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last 31 games he's played dating back to last season. Ian Sterrett was another key player, putting up 19 points.

Liberty Christian's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-5. As for Alamance Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 18-3.

Coming up, Liberty Christian will square off against Union Grove Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Alamance Christian, they will face off against Wilson Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
