Volleyball Recap: St. Xavier Comes Up Short

St. Xavier was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Flint Hills Christian Warriors, falling 3-0. The Rams were not able to make up for their defeat to the Warriors from their previous meeting back in October of 2022.

While St. Xavier was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Flint Hills Christian's winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-7, 25-10, 26-22.

St. Xavier's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Flint Hills Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-6 record this season.

After both having extra time off, St. Xavier and Manhattan HomeSchool CHIEF will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Flint Hills Christian, they will face off against Clifton-Clyde at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday.
