Soccer Game Preview: Lake Placid vs. Clewiston

The Lake Placid Dragons will take on the Clewiston Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Lake Placid's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 4-0 margin over Moore Haven.

Lake Placid hit Moore Haven with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Natalie Velozo (2), Jachelle Johnson, and Keely Irwin.

Meanwhile, Clewiston and Avon Park finished up their matchup with a 0-0 draw on Wednesday. The Tigers had to tread lightly for part of the contest as Jaylin Velasquez and Natalia Mireles were both handed yellow cards, which could explain the final result.

Clewiston's draw gives them a new season record of 5-3-4. As for Lake Placid, they now have a winning record of 6-5-3.
