Preview: Stafford Indians vs. Brooke Point Black Hawks
Stafford has been on the road for three straight, but on Tuesday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Brooke Point Black Hawks at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Stafford comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 25 points in their last four games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse.
Stafford suffered their biggest loss since December 7, 2023 on Thursday. They were dealt a 55-25 defeat at the hands of Mountain View.
Meanwhile, Brooke Point's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their fourth straight loss. They were outmatched by North Stafford at home and fell 57-23. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Brooke Point in their matchups with North Stafford: they've now lost eight in a row.
Stafford's loss was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 2-9. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 23.0 points per game. As for Brooke Point, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-11.
Stafford skirted past Brooke Point 46-44 in their previous matchup back in December of 2023. Will Stafford repeat their success, or does Brooke Point have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
