Wayne County took a three-goal loss the last time they faced off against Benedictine, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Yellow Jackets never let the Cadets get on the board and left with a 1-0 win on Thursday. Wayne County wouldn't have won without Jonathan Tlacuatl, who scored the game-winner.

The victory got Wayne County back to even at 3-3. As for Benedictine, they moved to 4-2 with that defeat, which also ended their three-match winning streak.
