Soccer Recap: Seguin Comes Up Short

Seguin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-3 heartbreaker at the hands of the Brackenridge Eagles. That's two games in a row now that the Matadors have lost by just one goal.

Seguin's defeat dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Brackenridge, their victory bumped their record up to 4-11.

Coming up, Seguin will square off against Sam Houston at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Brackenridge, they will challenge Edison at 4:45 p.m. on Friday. Brackenridge is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.5 goals per game this season.
