Lake Country Lutheran not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since November 2, 2024 (when they won 3-0). Everything went their way against the University School of Milwaukee Wildcats as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The Lightning have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Wildcats, too.

Lake Country Lutheran was especially dominant in the third set. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-19, 25-13.

Adeleine Catlin paced Lake Country Lutheran's offense, picking up 11 kills. Catlin got some help from Grace Luedke and her 29 assists. Catlin was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Lake Country Lutheran has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season. As for University School of Milwaukee, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-2.

Looking ahead, Lake Country Lutheran will be taking part in a tournament against Poynette at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for University School of Milwaukee, they will square off against Green Lake/Princeton at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
