Snow Canyon and Crimson Cliffs are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2023, but likely not for long. The Warriors will be playing at home against the Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Snow Canyon is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.7 runs per game this season.

Snow Canyon got a great performance from Trent Chris as he struck out seven batters over five innings while giving up just two earned runs off seven hits. Chris has been consistent: he hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in five consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, PJ Hancock and Bridger Larsen did most of the damage at the plate: Hancock got on base in all four of his plate appearances with four RBI, two runs, and one double, while Larsen went a perfect 3-for-3 with two doubles, one triple, and two RBI. That's the most doubles Larsen has posted since back in March.
Meanwhile, Crimson Cliffs was able to grind out a solid win over Cedar on Friday, taking the game 8-3. That's two games straight that the Mustangs have won by exactly five runs.
Tyler Ransom tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out nine over five innings pitched.
At the plate, Sam Chappell was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base. He has become a key player for Crimson Cliffs: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 8-9 otherwise. Ricardo Navarro was another key player, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one home run and two runs.
Crimson Cliffs kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They are a perfect 5-0 when they post 11 or more hits.
Crimson Cliffs' victory bumped their record up to 12-9. As for Snow Canyon, their win bumped their record up to 17-4.
Tuesday's contest might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Snow Canyon has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .474. However, it's not like Crimson Cliffs struggles in that department as they've averaged .455. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
