Baseball Recap: Hopewell-Loudon Starts Season with Win Against Carey

Hopewell-Loudon took care of business in their home opener (barely) on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out the Carey Blue Devils 4-3.

The team relied heavily on Cohen Sendelbach, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3. Thomas Daniel was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two RBI.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hopewell-Loudon will square off against St. Paul at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Carey, they will take on Upper Sandusky at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
