Megan Griffith Game Report: @ Alton

Civic Memorial came out on top against Alton on Friday thanks in part to Megan Griffith's efforts. Griffith made a splash, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. She played a big game the last time she faced Alton back in April of 2024, so the team probably should've seen her coming. That triple marked the first that Griffith has hit this season.

Coming up, Griffith and Civic Memorial are taking a road trip to challenge Highland at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Eagles had to take a loss when they last met the Bulldogs, but Griffith had little to do with the loss: she didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched.
