Basketball Game Recap: Harvest Prep Academy Eagle vs. A+ Charter School Maricopa

The Harvest Prep Academy Eagle kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They were the victim of a rough 44-18 defeat at the hands of A+ Charter School.

KJ Legette was Harvest Prep Academy's leading scorer, having posted eight points. Legette also led the team in rebounds with 12. Leo Cordova took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with two assists.

Harvest Prep Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for A+ Charter School, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Harvest Prep Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against Tohono O'Odham at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Tohono O'Odham comes in still looking for their first win of the season. As for A+ Charter School, they will head out on the road to face off against Heritage Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
