Recap: Berne Union Rockets vs. Miller Falcons
The Berne Union Rockets were the 52-8 winner over the Miller Falcons when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. Berne Union fell 32-23 to Miller on Tuesday. Berne Union has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Miller got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Lillian Anderson out in front who scored 6 points along with 9 rebounds and 3 steals. Another player making a difference was Clara Gabriel, who scored 10 points.
Berne Union's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Miller, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Berne Union will square off against Harvest Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Harvest Prep focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 29 last Wednesday. As for Miller, they will head out on the road to face off against Wellston at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
