Soccer Recap: Mt. Hope's Victory on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Portsmouth kept up with Mt. Hope until halftime on Thursday, but afterwards: not so much. The Huskies never let the Patriots get on the board and left with a 3-0 victory. The result was nothing new for Mt. Hope, who have now won three matches by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit Portsmouth with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Thea Jackson, Sara Nencka, and Maya Goglia.

The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 12 goals over those three contests. Coming up, Mt. Hope will host Lincoln at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Portsmouth, they will head out to challenge Pilgrim at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
