7A District 6 recap Oct. 23, 2012
St. Cloud moved up to 335 from 365 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in 7A District 6. The Bulldogs climbed the ranks as a result of beating Liberty 21-20.
Osceola extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Harmony, 61-0. The win marks seventh in a row for the the Kowboys.
Celebration's William Santry and Johnny Victor have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Santry has thrown for 678 yards this season, while Victor, a 6-foot-3 receiver, has 22 catches for 401 yards. Osceola's STAFON McCRAY leads the league in rushing yards with 631.
A big matchup in 7A District 6 this week will be when the Longhorns take on Gateway. Harmony is currently in fourth, while the Panthers are in second.
Doug Nichols' team took down Jerrad Butler's team 61-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
