 The Lowndes Vikings lost against the Valdosta Wildcats back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result  on Wednesday. Lowndes ended up on the wrong side of a  tough 63-40 walloping at the hands of Valdosta. Lowndes was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at  38-18.
 When it comes to explaining why Lowndes lost, one person who can't be blamed is  Kam Jackson. Despite the final result, he  scored 18 points along with five  rebounds and three  steals.  Tarrell Green Jr. was another key contributor,  scoring five points along with ten  rebounds and three  blocks.
 Lowndes used a slightly different lineup for their bout with Valdosta. And.  Wyatt Ferguson made the most of the opportunity,  scoring four points. A few more games like that and  he might be seeing even more time going forward.
 It was another big night for  Israel Jenrette, who  dropped  a double-double on 18 points and 13  rebounds for Valdosta. Valdosta is on the road again  on Friday and plays Camden County at 7:00  p.m.  on February 16th. Valdosta is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 59  points per game this season.
