Softball Recap: Kickapoo Comes Up Short

Kickapoo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 15-7 to the Riverdale Chieftains.

Kickapoo now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Riverdale, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-8.

Coming up, Kickapoo will head out to face off against North Crawford at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Riverdale, they will head out on the road to take on Southwestern at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Wildcats have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.08 runs per game on average), something the Chieftains will no doubt try to take advantage of.
