Softball Recap: J.L. Mann Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for J.L. Mann's offense. They lost 12-0 to the Woodmont Wildcats on Tuesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Patriots in their meetings with the Wildcats: they've now lost four in a row.

J.L. Mann's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Woodmont, their victory bumped their record up to 9-3.

Looking ahead, J.L. Mann will host Laurens at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Laurens has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.1 runs per game on average), something J.L. Mann will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Woodmont, they will head out to take on T.L. Hanna at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Woodmont 3.6, T.L. Hanna 2.6) so any runs scored will be well earned.
