Volleyball Game Preview: Hampton Roads Academy Navigators vs. Steward Spartans

Hampton Roads Academy hasn't had much luck against Steward recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Navigators will be playing in front of their home fans against the Spartans at 6:00 p.m.

On Tuesday, Hampton Roads Academy came up short against Norfolk Collegiate and fell 3-1.

While Hampton Roads Academy had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 21 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 23-25, 25-23, 25-21.

Meanwhile, Steward came into Tuesday's matchup having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over Cape Henry Collegiate on Tuesday.

Steward walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the third set). The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 7-25, 25-11, 25-23.

Hampton Roads Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Steward, their victory bumped their record up to 4-7.
