            Volleyball Recap: Temple Christian Pioneers vs. Arcadia Redskins        
        
		
        
        
            If Temple Christian was riding high  fresh off their  3-0 takedown of Upper Scioto Valley on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Pioneers fell just short of the Arcadia Redskins by a score of  2-1 on Saturday. The Pioneers have struggled against the Redskins recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
 Brooklyn Marshall paced Temple Christian's offense, picking up six kills. Marshall really made an impact as  she also led the team in assists with seven. She was also solid from the service line:  she led the team with three aces.
 Leading Arcadia to victory were  Ivy Smith and  Ryleigh Bostic.  Smith  had eight  aces and four  digs, while  Bostic  had ten  kills, four  digs,  and two  aces. Bostic is  on a roll when it comes to  kills, as she's  now  had five or more in each of the last seven games she's  played.  Shia Watkins also deserves some recognition as  she  had her first  kill of the season.
Temple Christian's loss dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Arcadia,  with the  win, they broke their three-match losing streak and moved their record to 6-10.
 Temple Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  contest,  a  2-1  defeat against Cory-Rawson on the 27th. As for Arcadia, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next  match,  a  2-1  victory against Cardinal Stritch on the 27th.
