Voyager Academy had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They never let the Cape Hatteras Hurricanes get on the board and left with a 10-0 win on Friday. The victory was familiar territory for the Vikings, who have now won nine matches in a row.

Hayden Van Auken and Erich Junker did most of the damage at the plate: Van Auken went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI, while Junker went a perfect 1-for-1 with three stolen bases and two runs. That's the most stolen bases Junker has posted since back in March. Adam Freiburger was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

Voyager Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .519. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Cape Hatteras only posted an OBP of .062.

Voyager Academy's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 22-2. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 9.2 runs. As for Cape Hatteras, their loss dropped their record down to 11-9.

As of now, neither Voyager Academy nor the Hurricanes have any future games scheduled.
