It was a Battle of the Birds when Joplin duked it out with Glendale on Tuesday. The Eagles came out on top in a nail-biter against the Falcons, sneaking past 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Eagles have posted since April 27, 2024.

Joplin's win bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Glendale, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

Joplin wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 10-0 defeat against Kickapoo on the 9th. As for Glendale, they will take on Neosho at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Wildcats will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something the Falcons surely won't give up without a fight.
