Baseball Game Preview: Bellmont Braves vs. Delta Eagles

The Bellmont Braves will head out to challenge the Delta Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Bellmont is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.

Bellmont made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Leo, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Braves fell just short of the Lions by a score of 5-3 on Thursday.

Bellmont saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Oliver Werling, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Delta narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Wapahani 3-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

Kaeb Stebbins spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on three hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances.

Delta's victory bumped their record up to 11-7. As for Bellmont, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-10.
