Volleyball Recap: Hatley Comes Up Short

Hatley managed to slip by Smithville the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Tigers lost 3-0 to the Seminoles on Monday. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Tigers were not able to get on the board.

Hatley took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-22, 28-26.

Hatley now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Smithville, their win was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hatley will welcome Amory at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Smithville, they will take on Nettleton at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
