Basketball Recap: Blount's Winning Streak Snapped at Four Games

Blount was the 52-49 winner over Vigor when they last played one another back in November, but their luck changed this time around. The Blount Leopards came up short against the Vigor Wolves on Friday, falling 66-46. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Leopards came into the match with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 89th, while the Wolves are ranked 266th).

Blount moved to 8-3 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak. As for Vigor, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 3-6 record this season.

When Blount and Vigor next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Blount will try to stop Minor's three-game winning streak when the meet at 1:30 p.m. on December 21st. Similarly, Vigor will challenge Murphy and their six-game winning streak at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
