Softball Recap: Klamath Union Comes Up Short

Hidden Valley hit Klamath Union with a six-run second inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Pelicans lost 18-6 to the Mustangs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Pelicans of the 11-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2025.

Klamath Union has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-3 record this season. As for Hidden Valley, the victory got them back to even at 5-5.

While Klamath Union had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
