Broadwater had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Jefferson on Thursday. The Bulldogs put the hurt on the Panthers with a sharp 3-0 victory. This was a revenge game for the Bulldogs: when they faced off against the Panthers last Saturday, they had to take a 1-0 defeat.

Broadwater walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the third set). The final score came out to 25-20, 25-20, 25-15.

Broadwater has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-6-2 record this season. As for Jefferson, with the loss, they broke their three-match winning streak and moved their record to 3-2.

Looking ahead, Broadwater will head out to take on Three Forks at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Jefferson, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Columbus at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
