Whetstone came out on top against Mifflin on Thursday thanks in part to the team's impressive five-run fifth inning. The Braves took their game against the Punchers 7-3. That's more bragging rights for the Braves, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Whetstone's record now sits at 10-3. As for Mifflin, their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 6-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Whetstone will face off against Thomas Worthington at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Mifflin, they will challenge Centerburg at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
