Baseball Game Preview: Tenafly Tigers vs. Teaneck Highwaymen

For the second straight game, Tenafly will face off against Teaneck. The Tigers will host the Highwaymen at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday.

Monday just wasn't the day for Tenafly's offense. They lost 10-0 to Teaneck on Monday. The Tigers have struggled against the Highwaymen recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost meeting.

For Teaneck's part, Jack Daniels was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowed only two hits over four innings pitched. Daniels was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 2-for-3.

In other batting news, Teaneck let Franjey Martinez and Jayden Castro run wild. Martinez scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3, while Castro scored two runs and stole three bases while going 2-for-2. Another player making a difference was Alexis Delgado, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and two RBI.
