Volleyball Recap: Chrisman Bears vs. Platte County Pirates

Chrisman was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Platte County Pirates. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Pirates this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-16, 25-11.

Lillian Munoz paced Chrisman's offense, picking up nine kills. Munoz got some help from Jazelle David and her 11 assists. Olivia Pocock controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Chrisman's defeat dropped their record down to 13-17-1. As for Platte County, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-9-2.

Looking ahead, Chrisman will head out on the road to take on Truman at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Platte County, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Fort Osage at 5:00 p.m.
