Volleyball Game Preview: Lee's Summit Tigers vs. Nixa Eagles

After both having extra time off, the Lee's Summit Tigers and the Nixa Eagles will shake off the rust and duke it out at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Lee's Summit came up short against Lee's Summit North on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Tigers in their meetings with the Broncos: they've now lost five in a row.

While Lee's Summit was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Lee's Summit North's winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-17, 25-21.

Meanwhile, Nixa can bid farewell to their five-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over Lincoln College Prep.

Lee's Summit's loss dropped their record down to 10-14. As for Nixa, their victory bumped their record up to 9-10.

Lee's Summit came out on top in a nail-biter against Nixa in their previous meeting back in April, sneaking past 3-2. Will the Tigers repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
