Softball Recap: Beulah Gets the Win

Beulah won the last time they faced Valley and things went their way on Monday too. The Beulah Bobcats walked away with a 6-3 win over the Valley Rams.

The team relied heavily on Madison Tapley, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 3-for-3. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in runs. Another player making a difference was Kyleigh Morgan, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Beulah has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.5 runs over those games. Valley dropped their record down to 6-9 with the loss, which was their fifth straight at home.

Looking ahead, Beulah will host Glenwood at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The match will give Glenwood their first taste of in-conferenceaction this season. As for Valley, they are taking a road trip to face off against Elmore County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Elmore County will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Valley surely won't give up without a fight.
