Softball Recap: Clearfield Falcons vs. Logan Grizzlies

The Clearfield Falcons lost 16-3 to the Logan Grizzlies on Monday. Clearfield has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Elizabeth Salazar made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and an RBI. Another player making a difference was Addyson Haddock, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

On Logan's side, Cambree Cooper was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Cooper was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.

In other batting news, Maryjane George was a standout: she went 2-for-2 with a home run and three RBI. Candence Boyer was another key contributor, scoring three runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
